Logomo

The conference will take place at the event and congress centre Logomo, which used to be an engine workshop for the Finnish State Railways. Logomo is situated in the city centre, close to Turku’s main railway station and the bus station. Logomo is easy to reach by bicycle, foot or public transport. A pedestrian bridge brings you directly from the main train station to Logomo. You can walk to Logomo from the Market Square in fifteen minutes. The journey by train or bus from Helsinki or Tampere to Turku takes less than two hours. For more information on transport, visit the Travel page.

Parking

Parking in the car parks and the entire Logomo area is subject to a fee from April 2013 on. Parking fees will also apply to parking spaces on the streets and beside the building in Logomo area. At lunchtime, or between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., free parking will be available for one hour. The free parking spaces for lunch guests will be found in front of Logomo’s Kitchen restaurant. Customers should collect a parking ticket entitling to free parking from machines in the area and leave them in the car in a visible place on the dashboard. If necessary, additional time can be purchased to extend the free period.

There are four ticket machines in Logomo’s car parks where customers can pay with credit card or cash. They can also use their mobile phones to pay through the EasyPark service. The fee is EUR 1/hour. The parking system in Logomo area is operated by AutoParkki Norden Oy. You can e-mail your feedback on the parking arrangements and Logomo to office@logomo.fi

Logomo has a taxi stand and you can order a taxi by calling 02 10041. Parking: For the time being, there is limited space for parking. We ask the public to come to Logomo either on foot or by public transport. The nearest major car park is 300 metres away on the other side of the railway tracks.

By Foot

Guided walks from Radisson Blu Marina Palace Hotel (Linnankatu 32, 20100 Turku) and Sokos Hotel Hamburger Börs (Kauppiaskatu 6, 20100 Turku) start heading for the venue Logomo on Tuesday 3 June and Wednesday 4 June at 8:00 a.m. The walks start from the entrance hall of each hotel and take approximately 20 minutes.
